Avengers: Infinity War is set to release May 8, 2018. The project finally sees the titular superhero group take on the all-powerful titan Thanos (Josh Brolin). Rumors and inflating buzz has completely confused the fans of the Avenger Series.

1. It’s THE END for few Iconic Characters who have captured our hearts & imagination with their attitude & bravery.
Infinity War co-director Joe Russo has confirmed that it’s time for the Marvel universe to have some real stakes, saying, “I believe that everything has to have an end at some point in order for it to have value.” Executive produce Kevin Feige has mirrored those comments saying that Infinity War could be the end for any or all of the Big Three: Iron Man, Captain America or The Hulk.
2.IMAX has stated that this film, along with Untitled Avengers Movie (2019), will be entirely filmed with IMAX 2-D digital cameras. This will make it the first non-documentary film to be entirely shot with IMAX cameras. (Source)
3. Thor’s Mjolnir is back!
The destruction of the hammer cast a doubt on whether Thor would have his iconic hammer.That question was answered in a behind-the-scenes set photo from Avengers: Infinity War, in which one of the Russo brothers is holding the God of Thunder’s hammer.
It’s unlikely that the hammer is just used for a flashback scene or something of that nature because Thor has also been seen wielding the hammer next to Rocket Racoon in concept art for Avengers: Infinity War.
4. As of the release of Thor: Ragnarok (2017), five of the six Infinity Stones have surfaced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Space Stone (also known as the Tesseract) was first revealed in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and now resides with Loki.
The Mind Stone, which was housed in Loki’s staff until Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and now is in the possession of Vision.
The Power Stone, first seen in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), is under control of the Nova Corps.
The Reality Stone (also known as the Aether) was first seen in Thor: The Dark World (2013), and was placed in the care of the Collector. With the destruction of the Collector’s Vault in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), its whereabouts are unclear.
The fifth and final known stone, the Time Stone (also known as the Eye of Agamotto), was revealed in Doctor Strange (2016), and is under his protection in Kamar-Taj.
The whereabouts of the sixth stone, the Soul Stone, are attached to Heimdall, and may appear in Black Panther (2018) or Avengers: Infinity War (2018). (Source)
